Luka Simonič

Luka Simonič is a Slovenian politician and a member of the National Assembly of Slovenia representing the Slovenian Democratic Party. Born in Leoben, Austria, he studied management and business organization at the University of Maribor, graduating in 2022. Prior to his full-time entry into politics, he worked as a professional handball player and later as a project associate at Pošta Slovenije. He has also served as the president of the Slovenian Democratic Youth, the youth wing of the party, and assumed his mandate as a substitute member of parliament in June 2026.
