Luke A. Rankin

Luke A. Rankin is an American attorney and politician who has served as a member of the South Carolina Senate representing District 33 since 1992. A member of the Republican Party, he currently chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee and holds assignments on several other committees, including Banking and Insurance, Education, Ethics, and Transportation. Born in Horry County, South Carolina, he earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of South Carolina and maintains a private legal practice.
