Madat Guliyev is an Azerbaijani military officer, politician, and National Hero of Azerbaijan. He has built an extensive career in law enforcement and national security, serving as the Chief of the State Security Service from 2015 to 2019 and as the Minister of Defense Industry from 2019 to 2023. In November 2023, he was appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
