Magnus Heunicke

Magnus Heunicke is a Danish journalist and politician currently serving as a member of the Folketing and as the Minister of the Environment and Minister for Gender Equality. A member of the Social Democrats, he has held several ministerial positions, including Minister of Health from 2019 to 2022, where he played a central role in Denmark's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before his political career, he worked as a journalist for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR).
