Mair Rowlands

Mair Eluned Rowlands is a Welsh politician serving as a Member of the Senedd for Bangor Conwy Môn since May 2026. Born and raised in Cardiff, she previously represented the Menai ward on Gwynedd Council from 2012 to 2022, where she served as a cabinet member and deputy leader. An alumna of Bangor University, she was active in student leadership before pursuing a career in local and national politics. Rowlands has been a long-standing candidate for Plaid Cymru, having contested seats in the UK general elections and previous Senedd elections before her successful 2026 campaign.
