Mait Klaassen

Mait Klaassen is an Estonian politician and veterinarian scientist currently serving as a member of the Riigikogu. He has previously held ministerial office as the Minister of Education from 1997 to 1999 and served multiple terms as the rector of the Estonian University of Life Sciences. Throughout his career, Klaassen has also been involved in local governance as the governor of Võru County and as a member of the Tartu City Council.
