Maja Lasić is a German politician and member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, representing the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Born in Mostar, she moved to Germany in 1993 and later earned a doctorate in biology from the University of Stuttgart. Before her political career, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry and for Teach First Deutschland. Lasić served in the Berlin House of Representatives from 2016 to 2021 and returned to the body in 2023, following a brief tenure as a district councilor for school, sports, and culture in Berlin-Mitte.
