Mamata Bala Thakur

Mamata Bala Thakur is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Rajya Sabha, representing the state of West Bengal. A member of the Trinamool Congress, she previously served as a member of the Lok Sabha after winning a 2015 by-election for the Bangaon constituency. Beyond her legislative career, she is a prominent figure in the Matua Mahasangha community, where she is recognized as a religious mother. Her political work has included service on the Standing Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment.
