Mamoru Yamashita is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Hiroshima Prefectural Assembly. Before his election to the prefectural assembly in 2023, he served for 20 years as a member of the Higashihiroshima City Council, where he held positions including City Council Chair. His political platform focuses on regional economic development, industrial infrastructure, child welfare, and disaster prevention. He previously worked as a medical corporation employee and as a secretary to a member of the National Diet.
