Manja Schüle

Manja Schüle is a German politician and member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) who currently serves as the Minister for Science, Research and Culture of Brandenburg. Born in Frankfurt (Oder), she holds a doctorate in political science from the University of Potsdam. Before her ministerial appointment in 2019, she worked as a parliamentary staffer and served as a member of the German Bundestag from 2017 to 2019. In 2024, she was elected to the Landtag of Brandenburg representing the Potsdam I constituency. Schüle is recognized for her focus on political education and research policy, and in 2026, she was honored as the Science Minister of the Year by the German University Association.
