Marci Francisco

Marci Francisco is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 2nd district since 2005. Before her tenure in the state legislature, she served as a city commissioner of Lawrence, Kansas, from 1979 to 1983, including a term as mayor from 1981 to 1983. Additionally, she worked as a space analyst at the University of Kansas. Francisco was the Democratic nominee for Kansas State Treasurer in 2018 and has consistently won re-election to her Senate seat since first taking office.
