Maria Benvinda Levy

Maria Benvinda Levy is a Mozambican jurist and politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Mozambique since January 15, 2025. Prior to her current role, she held significant positions within the Mozambican government and judiciary, including serving as the Minister of Justice starting in 2008 under President Armando Guebuza. Her career also includes experience as a judge at the Maputo City Court and as the director of the Legal and Judicial Training Center. In 2024, she was appointed as a member of the Superior Council of the Judicial Magistracy, reflecting her long-standing commitment to the country's legal and administrative systems.
