Marian Kaljouw is a Dutch politician and member of the Senate of the Netherlands, representing the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD). Born in 1956 in Bergen op Zoom, she earned her PhD from Maastricht University in 1998. She was elected to the Senate in June 2023. During her tenure, she has been involved in debates regarding asylum policy, notably supporting the Dispersal Act in 2024. In recognition of her professional contributions, she was appointed a Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2012.
