Marie-Pierre Monier

Marie-Pierre Monier is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Drôme department. A former mathematics teacher with a background in union and community activism, she was elected Mayor of Vinsobres in 2014 and subsequently entered the Senate later that year. She is a member of the Socialist and Affiliated group, focusing her legislative work on culture, education, and agriculture. Monier has been a vocal advocate for the promotion of agricultural and food product quality, successfully sponsoring legislation on these topics in 2019.
