Marin Mandarić is a Croatian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Đakovo. Born on November 17, 1984, in Osijek, he holds a Master of Economics degree from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek. First elected as mayor in 2017, he secured subsequent terms in 2021 and 2025. As a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), he has focused his administration on infrastructure development, educational investment, and the revitalization of local landmarks such as the Strossmayer Park.
