Marisela Santibáñez

Marisela Santibáñez is a Chilean politician, actress, and media personality who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for District 14 since 2018. Before entering politics, she had a prominent career in television and radio, appearing on various reality shows and hosting programs such as La plancha. A former member of the Progressive Party, she joined the Communist Party in 2019. Her legislative work focuses on culture, sports, and animal welfare, including a notable 2025 proposal to ban octopus farming in Chile.
