Marius-Constantin Budăi is a Romanian politician serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, having been elected in 2016 and 2020. He previously served as the Minister of Labor and Social Protection in the governments of Viorica Dăncilă and Nicolae Ciucă. Before entering national politics, he worked in local social welfare administration and served as the executive director of the Botoșani branch of the National House of Public Pensions. He resigned from his ministerial position in July 2023 following a public scandal regarding the conditions in nursing homes.
