Mark Furner

Mark Furner is an Australian politician currently serving as a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly for the district of Ferny Grove, a position he has held since 2015. Previously, he served as a Senator for Queensland in the Australian Parliament from 2008 to 2014. Throughout his career, he has held several ministerial portfolios in the Queensland government, including Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries. Before entering politics, he worked as a union official for organizations such as the Transport Workers' Union and the Queensland Police Union.
