Mark Hashem

Mark Jun Hashem is an American politician serving as a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing District 19 since 2010. Born in Hokkaido, Japan, and raised in Hawaii, he holds a bachelor's degree from Pacific University and a Master of Arts from Hokkaido University. Before his legislative career, Hashem was an entrepreneur in Japan, where he operated an English school and founded a billiards supply network, and later served as a legislative aide to state representative Kyle Yamashita. He is recognized for his long-standing service in the Hawaii State Legislature.
