Martin Candinas

Martin Candinas is a Swiss politician and member of the National Council of Switzerland. Born in Ilanz, he began his political career in the Grand Council of Grisons before being elected to the National Council in 2011. He served as the President of the National Council from 2022 to 2023. A member of The Center party, Candinas is known for defending the interests of mountainous cantons and is one of the few parliamentarians who speaks Romansh. Outside of politics, he has held various management roles in the health insurance sector.
