Mary Goretti Kitutu is a Ugandan politician, academic, and environmentalist currently serving as the Manafwa District Women's Representative in the 11th Parliament of Uganda. She has held several high-level government positions, including Minister for Karamoja Affairs, Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, and State Minister for the Environment. Before entering politics, she worked as a teacher, environmental consultant, and research officer at the National Environment Management Authority. In 2024, she became subject to international sanctions by the UK government regarding corruption allegations involving the misappropriation of government-funded resources.
