畑中政昭

Masaaki Hatanaka is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Takaishi City in Osaka Prefecture. Born in 1981, he graduated from Kinki University and previously worked as a public relations and management consultant. Hatanaka began his political career as a member of the Takaishi City Council in 2007, where he served four terms and held positions including City Council Vice-Chair and Chair. In April 2023, he was elected as the Mayor of Takaishi after defeating the incumbent candidate. He is affiliated with the Nippon Ishin no Kai party and has been active in regional youth political organizations.
