伊丹 雅治

Masaharu Itami is a Japanese politician currently serving his second term as a member of the Shizuoka Prefectural Assembly, representing Mishima City. Prior to his election to the prefectural assembly, he served one term as a member of the Mishima City Council. His political career was inspired by his experiences volunteering in the aftermath of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. A former agricultural extension worker, Itami has been a prominent advocate for regional revitalization, notably leading the branding of 'Hakone Seiroku Mishima Vegetables' and the development of the 'Mishima Croquette' food culture. He focuses on disaster prevention, regional development, and the integration of agriculture and welfare sectors.
