新開 昌彦

Masahiko Shinkai is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly, representing the Sawara Ward of Fukuoka City. First elected in 1999, he is currently serving his seventh term in office. Within the assembly, he holds the position of leader of the Komeito Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly group and serves on the Police Committee and the Special Committee on One Health and Decentralization. Prior to his political career, he worked in the private sector for fifteen years. He is dedicated to community-based policy initiatives and regional development.
