Masahiro Fuke is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kashiwara in Osaka Prefecture. Born in 1975, he previously worked as a civil servant at the Yao City Hall before entering politics. He was first elected to the Kashiwara City Council in 2013 and subsequently won the mayoral election in 2017. Fuke has focused his administration on fiscal stability and disaster-resilient urban development, a commitment inspired by his experiences during the Great Hanshin Earthquake. He has secured three consecutive terms as mayor, most recently winning re-election in 2025.
