山根まさひろ

Masahiro Yamane is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Hokkaido Prefectural Assembly, representing the Kita Ward of Sapporo. Born in 1975 in Nanae, Hokkaido, he graduated from Tokai University. Before his election to the assembly, he spent 15 years working as a legislative secretary for members of both the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors, gaining extensive experience in regional policy issues. He was first elected to the Hokkaido Prefectural Assembly in 2019 and secured a second term in 2023, consistently receiving strong electoral support in his district.
