上野正三

Masami Ueno is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido. Born in Eniwa, he graduated from Hokkai-Gakuen University and spent his early career as a local government official in the former Hiroshima Town, eventually serving as the assistant mayor of Kitahiroshima. First elected mayor in 2005, he has since secured multiple consecutive terms. His administration focuses on urban development that balances nature with infrastructure, notably leading the successful effort to attract the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters' stadium, ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO, to the city.
