金坂昌典

Masanori Kanesaka is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Oamishirasato in Chiba Prefecture. Born in 1968 in what was then Oamishirasato Town, he previously worked as an insurance agency executive. Kanesaka was first elected as mayor in December 2010 and assumed office in January 2011. During his tenure, he successfully oversaw the transition of Oamishirasato from a town to a city in 2013 after the municipality met the required population threshold. He has since been re-elected four times, including an uncontested victory in 2018, and continues to lead the city's municipal administration.
