Masao Uchibori is the Governor of Fukushima Prefecture, currently serving his third term. A former bureaucrat who served in the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, he transitioned to local government in Fukushima, eventually serving as Vice Governor before his first election as Governor in 2014.
