Matt Woods is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Alabama Senate, representing the 5th district since 2025. Prior to his election to the Senate, he served as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives for the 13th district from 2022 to 2025. Before entering politics, Woods worked in the private sector, including co-founding the company Jasper Auto Sales with his father. He holds an associate degree from Bevill State Community College and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Auburn University.
