Matthew Morgan

Matthew Morgan is an American politician serving as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 29A since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, he has served on the Health and Government Operations Committee throughout his tenure and previously held the position of Assistant Minority Leader from 2019 to 2021. Morgan is a founding member and inaugural chair of the Maryland Freedom Caucus. Throughout his legislative career, he has focused on conservative policy initiatives, including opposition to expanded mail-in voting, support for stricter voter ID requirements, and skepticism toward various gun control and climate change mandates. He is a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and has consistently advocated for policies emphasizing fiscal responsibility and limited government intervention.
