Matthew Patrick is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Wirral West since 2024. In September 2025, he was appointed as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Northern Ireland. Prior to his election to Parliament, Patrick served as a member of the Wirral Council from 2013 to 2018 and worked in financial regulation and communications. He is recognized as a centrist within the Labour Party and is the first Jewish MP for his constituency.
