Mélissa Hanus is a Belgian politician and member of the Socialist Party. Born in Arlon in October 1992, she began her career as a substitute computer science teacher in a secondary school in Arlon. Entering local politics, she was elected as a municipal alderman in Étalle in 2018. In 2019, she was elected to the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Luxembourg constituency, where she has served on committees covering energy, environment, climate, mobility, and public enterprises.
