Meredith Lawson-Rowe is an American politician and community activist currently serving as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 5th district. First elected in 2024, she represents a constituency that includes parts of Columbus, Obetz, Groveport, Blacklick Estates, Canal Winchester, and Reynoldsburg. Prior to her state-level service, Lawson-Rowe was a member of the Reynoldsburg City Council, where she made history in 2019 as one of the first Black women elected to the body. She is also recognized for her community advocacy, including her role in establishing Juneteenth celebrations in Reynoldsburg.
