Metin Ergun

Metin Ergun is a Turkish politician and academic who currently serves as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, representing the province of Muğla. Born in 1963 in Milas, he pursued a distinguished academic career, earning his doctorate from Selçuk University and eventually becoming a professor of Turkish Language and Literature. He has held faculty positions at Atatürk University, Selçuk University, and Gazi University. Ergun has been elected to the Turkish Parliament multiple times, serving in the 21st, 23rd, 27th, and 28th legislative terms. He is fluent in English and Russian.
