Michael Farmer, Baron Farmer

Michael Farmer, Baron Farmer is a British businessman and life peer who has served in the House of Lords since 2014. Known as 'Mr Copper' for his extensive career in base metals trading, he co-founded the Red Kite Group of hedge funds and previously served as treasurer of the Conservative Party. In Parliament, he is a vocal advocate for family stability, prison reform, and social mobility, having authored influential reports for the Ministry of Justice on the importance of family relationships in offender rehabilitation. A born-again Christian, he is also active in interfaith initiatives and has been a prominent supporter of Brexit.
