William Bradshaw, Baron Bradshaw

William Bradshaw, Baron Bradshaw is a British academic and politician who has served as a Liberal Democrat member of the House of Lords since 1999. Before his parliamentary career, he held significant roles in the transport sector, including working for British Rail from 1959 to 1985 and serving as a Professor of Transport Management at the University of Salford. He also served as an Oxfordshire County Councillor from 1993 to 2008 and acted as a special adviser to the House of Commons Transport Select Committee. His extensive background in transport policy has informed his legislative work throughout his tenure in the House of Lords.
