Michael Frieser

Michael Frieser is a German lawyer and politician representing the Christian Social Union (CSU). He has served as a member of the Bundestag for Nuremberg since 2009. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held various committee assignments, including roles on the Committee on Cultural Affairs and the Media and the Committee on the Verification of Credentials, Immunities and Rules of Procedure. Additionally, he is involved in the appointment of judges to Germany's highest courts and participated in a cross-party working group on electoral reform. In 2017, he notably voted against the introduction of same-sex marriage in Germany.
