Michael Holmstrom Jr. is an American politician serving as a member of the Minnesota Senate since 2025. Representing District 29, which encompasses areas in Wright County, he was elected in a special election held on November 4, 2025, to fill the vacancy left by the death of Bruce Anderson. Holmstrom secured the seat after winning the Republican primary and subsequently defeating his opponent with 62.1% of the vote. He was officially sworn into office on November 18, 2025, and currently resides in Buffalo, Minnesota.
