Michael Kushmerek

Michael Kushmerek is an American politician serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 3rd Worcester District, a position he has held since 2021. Before his election to the state legislature, he served on the Fitchburg City Council, including a term as city council president. Kushmerek holds degrees in history and political science from Fitchburg State University. Prior to his political career, he worked in administrative and directorial roles at several higher education institutions, including Northeastern University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Fitchburg State University.
