Michael Nicholson Lord, Baron Framlingham, is a British politician and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 2011. Previously, he was a Conservative Member of Parliament for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich from 1997 to 2010, having first been elected to the House of Commons in 1983. During his tenure in the Commons, he served as the Second Deputy Chairman of Ways and Means and as a Deputy Speaker. A former eurosceptic and member of the 'Maastricht Rebels,' he was knighted in 2001 for his political service.
