Michal Truban

Michal Truban is a Slovak politician and businessman who has served as a Member of the National Council of Slovakia since 2023. A prominent figure in the Progressive Slovakia movement, he previously served as its chairman from 2019 to 2020 and has been a vice-president of the party since 2020. Before entering politics, Truban was a successful IT entrepreneur who founded the web hosting company Websupport and was named IT personality of the year in 2015. He is a vocal advocate for radical state digitization and anti-corruption measures.
