Michelle Strinden is an American politician serving as the 40th Lieutenant Governor of North Dakota since 2024. Prior to her current role, she served as a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives for the 41st district from 2018 to 2024. A former school counselor in the West Fargo Public Schools, Strinden is a vocal advocate for school choice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in secondary education from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Science in counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
