Mickey Levy is an Israeli politician and former police officer who currently serves as a member of the Knesset for the Yesh Atid party. Born in Jerusalem to parents of Kurdish Jewish origin, he served in the Israel Defense Forces before embarking on a long career with the Israel Police, eventually leading the Jerusalem district. After retiring from law enforcement, he entered politics in 2013, later serving as Deputy Minister of Finance and as the Speaker of the Knesset from 2021 to 2022. He is known for his focus on state control and government oversight.
