Born in Maramureș, Romania, she moved to Belgium where she initially worked as a technical cleaner in a nursing home and became a trade union delegate for the socialist union FGTB. Following the June 2024 regional elections, she was elected as a member of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region, where she began serving on the Committee for Economic Affairs and Employment in 2025.
