山下美紀

Miki Yamashita is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Togane in Chiba Prefecture. Born in Togane, she graduated from the Department of French Literature at Gakushuin University and later completed a master's program at the Meiji University Graduate School of Governance. Before entering politics, she worked as an employee at Waseda Academy, served as a member of the Togane City Board of Education, and acted as a director for the NPO 3.11 Children's Library. In April 2026, she was elected as the Mayor of Togane after defeating the incumbent candidate.
