内田幹夫

Mikio Uchida is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Uonuma City in Niigata Prefecture. Born in the former village of Yunotani, he began his career working for the local agricultural cooperative before establishing his own travel agency, Uchida Tourist Service, in 1981. He later served as the chairman of the Yunotani Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Uchida entered politics in 2020, winning his first term as mayor after defeating the incumbent. He was re-elected unopposed in December 2024 and continues to lead the municipal government of Uonuma.
