Mithat Sancar is a Turkish politician, constitutional law professor, and translator of Arab descent. He has served as a Member of the Grand National Assembly since 2015, representing the Mardin constituency for the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), and previously served as the party's Co-Chair. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished academic career at Ankara University and was a prominent human rights activist, co-founding several human rights organizations in Turkey.
