Mitsuhiro Hoshino is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Fujimi in Saitama Prefecture. Born in Fujimi, he graduated from Nihon University before working in real estate and his family's business. He began his political career as a member of the Fujimi City Council in 2001, later serving two terms in the Saitama Prefectural Assembly. Elected as Mayor of Fujimi in 2016, he has since secured re-election for a third term. Beyond his mayoral duties, he has been active in the National Association of Mayors for Sign Language, serving as its chairman from 2019 to 2024 and currently as its secretary-general.
