Mkhitar Hayrapetyan is an Armenian politician currently serving as the Minister of High-Tech Industry. A founding member of the Civil Contract party, he previously served as the Minister of Diaspora from 2018 to 2019 and as a member of the National Assembly of Armenia. Educated at Yerevan State University with a specialization in Turkish studies, he has been recognized for his leadership in advancing artificial intelligence in governance, including his inclusion in the 2026 'Government AI 100' list for his efforts in developing national AI infrastructure and education.
